What should I do? This all started after I upgraded to IE 8. In a recent update from Microsoft DEP started sending up error messages anytime I closed an explorer. Click "file", then "save". Also the window error reporting closes due to dep! It is more trouble than it is worth, I have had all processor features disabled on my computers for years with no issues. Feel free to e-mail me.
Chrome was part of IE8 and a Google feature. Click startup and recovery settings. Basically my entire computer is useless. These are stored on an external drive, but that should make no dofference, IMHO.

My problem is the iexplorer.exe stopped working after I clicked on MSN messenger for checking e-mails. When we got to the perfomance options page it listed google (we did not have to look for it) and we checked it off and now we can get google again. DEP catches things in a way that anti-malware tools cannot. I am now trying to run fix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3102810 right now, but this fix says "Searching for updates on this computer" and does not show progress so far.
